Blessings to all of you Kingdom Force Freedom Fighters our there!

I know all of you are very aware that we are in a spiritual battle; a battle between good and evil. As we continue to see conflict arising all around us, seemingly on every side, the Lord does not want us to grow weary in well doing. In fact, the Lord has a very encouraging word for us at this time.

During the night of July 19, I heard Holy Spirit clearly speak the words to me, “Continental Congress”.  As I typically do when I receive such a word in my sleep, I whisper a prayer that the Lord will bring it back to my memory when I awaken. I don’t want to lose any revelation that He is sharing with me.  When I awakened later that morning, I once again heard the words “Continental Congress” and shortly after that I heard the words, “First Continental Congress”. I knew Holy Spirit wanted me to dig deeper into the revelation He was giving me, and here is some of what I found.

The First Continental Congress was organized in September 1774 to coordinate a protest against the British Parliament for the punitive measures they had put in place due to the resistance of the Boston Tea Party. As tensions continued to escalate, the Revolutionary War broke out in April 1775 leading to the Declaration of Independence in July 1776.

The First Continental Congress was a meeting of delegates from 12 of the 13 British colonies that became the United States. They met from September 5 through October 26, 1774 at Carpenter’s Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (It should be noted that Georgia was the lone hold-out due to feelings of loyalty to Great Britain. They relied upon Great Britain for the military supplies they needed to defend themselves against possible Indian attacks.)  There were 56 delegates in attendance including George Washington, Patrick Henry, John Adams, and Samuel Adams. During the opening weeks of the congress the delegates conducted a spirited discussion about how the colonies could collectively respond to the British government’s coercive actions, and they worked to make a common cause.

It is said that Benjamin Franklin had suggested such a meeting one year before, but he was not able to convince the colonies of the necessity until the British blocked the Boston Harbor and the punitive Intolerable Acts were passed. In other words, as resistance and tensions continued to grow between the colonists and Great Britain, colonists were beginning to see they had to organize and push back against Great Britain if they were going to enjoy the freedom they so longed for.

At the meeting of the First Continental Congress the delegates organized an economic boycott of Great Britain, and they petitioned the King for a redress of grievances. The colonies were becoming united and their goal was to demonstrate to Great Britain their authority by virtue of their common causes and unity. However, their objectives were inconsistent as most delegates were not quite ready to break away from Great Britain. They did, however, want the king and British parliament to act in a fairer manner towards the colonists.

As we look back, we can easily see how the First Continental Congress was the very beginnings of this nation’s birthing process. As the birth pangs continued, a Second Continental Congress convened on May 10, 1775 in Philadelphia shortly after the start of the Revolutionary War. The Continental Congress raised up an army to fight the British, and it named George Washington its commander.

The 13 colonies were coming together, they had a high degree of self-governance, active local elections, and they resisted London’s demands for more control over them. Acting as one, the Continental Congress were leaders that headed up the resistance against England (British). They raised up an army, made treaties, declared independence and recommended the colonies write constitutions and becomes states. All of these things taken together led to the Declaration of Independence being adopted on July 4, 1776; the day this nation was born.

You might be asking by now, “why is the Lord pointing you toward the Continental Congress at this time”? I have been seeking the Lord concerning this, and this is what I feel He is saying: We have now entered a time of “reformation” for this nation. Even as it was in its beginnings so shall it now be.  The Lord is going back to the very roots of this nation in order to reestablish and reform it in this hour.

In the very beginnings of this nation the Lord was raising up a people; a people that had a bold heart to take the lead and run with it. Those like Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Adams, and Patrick Henry.  Don’t think it is impossible for the Lord to raise up such patriots today. He has already begun this work in each and every one of you, and He is asking that you come into agreement with what He desires to accomplish through you in this hour.

The Lord is looking for those that have the foresight and knowledge to repair and reestablish the foundation of this nation. These things are already coming about as we are already at war; a war between good and evil. Just as there was resistance between the colonists and Great Britain over who would have the ultimate control and victory, there is much resistance taking place in the realm of the spirit now, and it is intensifying. The Lord says it is the resistance that is coming against His people that will cause His people to stand and resist the enemy in this season. Although there are some that are not ready to break away from the ways of the world, (they are not seeing the Lord as their Source and Supply) I hear the Lord saying, Patriots arise. Arise and pick up the banner of victory for I have already placed it in your hands.

The Lord says the Second Revolutionary War for the heart of this nation has already begun. The first Revolutionary War brought about the birth of a nation. The second Revolutionary War will reform and reset this nation for His intended purposes. Where we have gotten off track, He will realign us. And just as it took time for all 13 colonies to align themselves in unity, so too, has it taken time for We The People to come into alignment/unity. But the Lord says now, healing will come and the people of this nation will rally together and unify, and they will become One Voice. The voice the Lord’s people will now project will override the voice of the enemy. The enemy will be silenced and great freedom will come to this land once again; a freedom that can only be found in Me saith the Lord. For now I will fill the stadiums not with sports, but with My Spirit saith the Lord. My Spirit will hover high and My Spirit will hover low saith the Lord. I will visit the rich, the destitute, those poor in spirit and those that think they have no need of a Savior. I will visit this nation and the tide will turn on the enemy for I will have My harvest saith the Lord. I will have My Bride. So arise and stand strong My people and be emboldened in your faith for I will put My Words in your mouth, and you will declare victory, after victory, after victory until the enemy is silenced and defeated. Know, too, that I am appointing generals among the troops in this hour as well. They will hear and have clear directives from me.  Listen intently to what they say for they will have the battle plans and strategies to take down the enemy.  They will know what you must do in this hour. Run with Me saith the Lord. Run and do not grow weary in the battle, for though it may be long and intense, surely the victory is yours. You will not be defeated. Only hold your head high and see My glory overtake you again, and again, and again as I equip you for the days ahead saith the Lord.
